Health Care – Mutuelle Program

We aim to provide health insurance (Mutuelle) for 2,000 needy individuals in Rwanda, ensuring access to essential medical care. With just $5, you can help cover a person’s healthcare for an entire year. Join us in making a difference!

Achievements

  • Since 2012 we supported 9,301 needy persons.
  • 2024 : We supported 915 needy persons.

ZAKAT Program

United for Assistance collects ZAKAT Maal and uses it to help beneficiaries to start economic activities by starting small businesses. This program was launched in 2022 in Rwanda and Burundi.

FOOD AID Program

The Food Aid Program is done in different forms. It can be done during normal or difficult times and it targets the needy persons in Rwanda and Burundi. We provide raw food during the Ramadhan or Eid periods (Eid Fitr and Eid Al-Adha). We also support the needy during the pandemic periods such as COVID19.

Achievements

  • Zakatul Fitr (2010-2018): we collected and distributed Zakatul fitr in Rwanda and Burundi. This activity is not currently active.
  • March 2021: 24 families received a two weeks food package.
  • April 2022: 20 families received food package.

EDUCATION Program

United for Assistance supports the students that want to attend Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) because we think it is a good way to help people. This program is now only active in Rwanda but soon it will be extended in Burundi.

Achievements

  • From 2011 we gave a scholarship  loan  to students who where studying to former National University of Rwanda (NUR) which is now University of Rwanda Huye campus.
  • From 2016 to 2017  we paid school-fees loan of  5 students who were studying Technical and Vocational education in Rwanda, and some of them have already graduated.
