Microfinances Charity

Why Microfinance Project?

Besides the annual activities outlined above, UA has now engaged in providing short and long-term interest-free loans to local associations (known as cooperatives) whose mission and activities fall between the lines of UA mission and objectives.  As anyone may guess, there are many associations in Rwanda and, of course, they all do not possess the same credentials. A comprehensive list of local associations was supplied to UA board of directors by UA team based in Rwanda. Then the Board of directors had to evaluate the credit worthiness of each association before the loan is disbursed. Subsequently, three associations were selected and they will be the beneficiaries of the short term loans that will be disbursed after all formal agreements have been signed by both parties (the UA and the associations in question).

Our Method

Searching for fund in order to support activities of the community.

As stipulated in UA mission, UA is aiming at poverty reduction via education and any other activities generating revenues in order to enhance the well-being of impoverished individuals and communities at large. As such, UA is calling individuals from all walks of life to financially donate to UA in order to amplify and boost our activities and help as many communities as we can in order to eradicate or at least reduce significantly extreme poverty.

Mircofinance in Number

For second time, United for Assistance (UA) will continue to finance cooperatives in Rwanda. This year, UA will allocate up to FRW 1000000 as free-interest loan.
